Logging Verification Artifacts

Hello,

Brand new to DOORS and inherited a design verification procedure.  We have a verification procedure with many steps I would like to create a link to a given step to a log book of sorts.  For example one part of the procedure is something like "using a sound meter validate at ambient the unit does not produce sound louder than x db".  I would like to create a link that says has a place to initial and what the actual sound level was.  When exported I would like this to all be one connected entity.  What is the best way to accomplish this?
